I will be showing a new series of barn paintings at the Fayman Gallery, Downtown Lawrence opening on Final Friday, October 25, 5-9pm. The gallery is located above Sarah’s Fabrics, 927 1/2 Massachusetts. There will be a closing reception on November, 29th at the gallery as well.
I am showing several new prairie fire and barn oil paintings, as well as kiln cast glass barns, at Leopold Gallery in Kansas City May 10 through June 5. I'm also displaying a few of my abstract landscapes on mylar, a substance that gives paint an added luminosity. Come discuss art with people who love it as much as you do, wander around the gallery and see which of my new works strikes you as most awe-inspiring.
I'm sharing gallery space with Jacob Burmood, a Kansas sculptor whose "Draped Form" you might have seen in the Open Spaces public art exhibition in Swope Park last Fall. The KU alum is like me, making a living doing what he loves. Thanks in advance for your support!
My new prairie fire painting available at the First Friday Artwalk, “All the Best”, Feb. 1 at the Southwind Gallery in Topeka, Kansas. 5 to 7:30pm. Stop by and meet the artists and the new gallery owner.
Here is a link to the promo video made of me for the Annual Benefit Art Auction recently held at the Lawerence Arts Center. Click here. There are views of my studio and my exhibit of new barn paintings also shown recently at the Arts Center.
My illustrations from the New Kansas Cookbook are now on display and for sale at the Phoenix Gallery in Downtown Lawrence through Christmas.
