I am showing several new prairie fire and barn oil paintings, as well as kiln cast glass barns, at Leopold Gallery in Kansas City May 10 through June 5. I'm also displaying a few of my abstract landscapes on mylar, a substance that gives paint an added luminosity. Come discuss art with people who love it as much as you do, wander around the gallery and see which of my new works strikes you as most awe-inspiring.

I'm sharing gallery space with Jacob Burmood, a Kansas sculptor whose "Draped Form" you might have seen in the Open Spaces public art exhibition in Swope Park last Fall. The KU alum is like me, making a living doing what he loves. Thanks in advance for your support!

A themed show called Black & White has sprung up at SouthWind Art Gallery at Framewoods in Topeka under new owner Janet Paduh. See my "Fallen Angel" (below, obviously) and "Reclining Figure." The show's Opening Reception is Friday, May 3, 5-7pm and it’s up through June 28. Us artists and the gallery have done our job, now it’s up to you to bring the color to the place!
